All we need is another irresponsible driver trying to max out his Monte on the freeway

Hey I do that, and I'm not irresponsible. LOL

as far as 04 gse i just dont see him ever goign faster then the posted speed in his car.

but ten when he wakes up that might be diffrent,

As far as the cut off unless they changed it the 03 SS will go to 115 then it cuts out but you can get it pas that keeping your foot in to it then about 130 it will shut you down untill you go under that mark.

with the reprogrammer you can get rid of it completly and also change otehr things for the extra cash it is worth it from what i have seen also i can change mine back to factory settigns and read codes. also i can change the shift points so that my car is tuned for my car. also you can change the gas it uses for the octaine levels one for ecconomy or one for pref. so if you are going on a trip you can make it so it will run better millege.

i looked at both of them when looking in ot getting one and i saw teh benifits of the actual reprogrammer instead of the new ECM.
Just my .02

Who would want to drive that fast???

130 so far....... Of course I would never do this in traffic......

BTW Mickey, it cuts out @ 115 cause you've maxed RMP.

So, any idea how fast you were going? Did it still pull after maxing out the speedo?

best guess was about 150-160 when you get close to the end of the sppedo it starts to let up some but you cna still tell it had more in it.
but i shut it down due to me running out of room fast.

but it was still trying to go.

the guy with me swore up and down his car culd keep up( he had a GT mustang) he didnt have a chance after we got up past 120 he started to fall back more and more i asked why he said he could not kep going he had to down shift to stay with me but he hit high gear and i just left him. Like i told him i guess they wernt ment to go that fast for a distance.
but it was also the first time he ran his that hard for any lenth of time so i tend to belive that he backed out of it .

ethier way i know the speedo is not the thing stoping it it will do well over the 240 clicks it shows ont eh speedo.

his is uncut but he didnt ave the motor.
