Will it damage the engine if it is left in for too long?

It will plug your filter which will stop oil circulation in your car.

Should I also change the Transmission fluid and filter being I added Trans tune to it? I am starting to notice that my leather drivers seat seam is starting to wear down and I do not want it to split open. Is there a black liquid leather product or something else I could use to refinish the seam? And do you guys recommend a interior cleaner which will clean a yellowing and stained roof interior from smoking?

Being that the car has not had a tune-up yet. I am wondering if the Plugs and Wires may have something to do with the Transmission hesitation?

Up-date: Got a complete tune up. And Exhaust system. Car is riding great now. Smooth with no shifting problems. I guess the hesitation issue may have been due to the Spark Plugs or bad wires? All I know is that so far so good. Fingers crossed. P.S. The center air vent Dash Plate, Does it just pull out or is it screwed in? Does anyone know get it off without breaking it? Could not find anything online for this.

Good to hear and yes i do, It a panel on the left side when you open the door, pop open that panel, and follow the pop offs around. Be gentle cause they can snap off. I really cant explain in text but just feel it around. And its good, your next 10k miles do another seafoam treatment to the crank case, oil and gas, and clear out some more carbon. Also make sure you check your motor mounts, mine caused a HUGE hesitation issue with my engine, and once I fixed that, my tranny shifts like a baby. Shop said my tranny is in the 17s pressure.

The panel is in the center of the dash. The one that houses the two center vents and info buttons. One of the vents needs to be replaced or repaired.

Up-date 7/9/2014
After my tune-up. Car seems to be running nicely. Now I am starting to notice mild slips/hesitation again. I also have a few other issues. See Thread: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/se...friend&t=49523 Does it ever end. Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and NOT Chevolet!!!
