Default So I got the wife a Monte...

...and now I'm here looking for ideas of what we can do with it. It's an '03 SS that's in pretty good shape, but you can tell the previous owner treated it like it was just another car.

My first question is wheels and tires. The tires on the car are shot! And here's an interesting twist, the car has 17 inch wheels from a Chevy Equinox! Hey don't laugh they look pretty good, but they're chrone and are starting to discolor. I don't know how to handle that. I also have 3 of the original wheels, but they look a little ragged. I'm going to the wheel and tire forum for research but feel free to throw an idea out there.

Welcome!

There are lots of factory and aftermarket wheel options for these cars. GM used the same lug pattern and offset for wheels on a large number of cars. You may want to try Craigslist and see if someone local is getting rid of nice wheels (maybe even with good tires). Just some thoughts.

welcome to the site. The stock bolt pattern is 5x115 and craigslist usually has a ton of them. Plasti dip may also be an option for the wheels you have
