Default Shortage after simple engine swap 3.4

Hey I need help please !!! well look I have a situation well I drive a 2000 chevy Monte Carlo 3.4 well I blew my engine out so I took it to a shop and had a new engine with tranny installed everything works great but my passenger headlight won't turn on so I took it back and they couldn't find anything wrong with it so I took it to a couple of shops and no luck trying to figure out what it could be I think it's a ground shortage another thing the car does is that when I'm driving in a low speed around 30 or below it sometimes turns off and have to put it all the way to park to turn it back on instead of cranking it while its in neutral so they rewired both headlights and they turn on but when I push the high beam it just flickers and doest stay and if it stays only one turns on

Only engine grounds should have been touched while doing a swap like that, to take the wiring harness off the old engine and on the new one.

Sorry I'm not much help on the headlight issue, but they shouldn't have rewired them IMO. I guess it could be a bad headlight switch or possibly a bad multifunction switch.
