shift handle removal

Default shift handle removal

hey all. if there is someone that can tell me how to remove shift handle on a 1984 s.s that would be great. i am replacing all bezel pieces and thats holding me up. thanks. ken s.

Ken welcome to the MCF. Is your 84 column or console shifted?

Thx for your response. It is console shifter. I fig. it out though it is a press clip on inside of shift handle. Just use thin screw driver and it came right out. I am a former ford guy so im sure im gonna have more questions< totally dif. animal. thankyou again.
