Default From column shift to floor shift 97 Monte

I want to change my 1997 MonteLS from column shift to floor shift. I have a doner floor console with everything included from wiring to cables and clips from a 1997 monte z34. I also have an instrument cluster from the same year car with the PRNDL delete.I of course now need to find the correct drivers seat that is the same width as the passenger seat as my car has 60/40 seats with the column shift. I'll take the seat to a auto appolster to see if they can cut the drivers foam seat and re-thread it to make the correct seat i need, or i'll find a used 1 somewhere with grey interior. My question is > isthe floor shift consolea easy or hard conversion to do? Any comments or help guides will be appriciated.......Regards to all.....Tom H

I will take before and after photos for my scrapbook and i will post them with a step by step guide on how to do it. So far i got the drivers seat in the same fabric (grey cloth) for $75.00, and the center console with all the wires, cables and clips for $160.00, and the instrument cluster with the odometer delete for $52.00...The trickiest part will be routing the speedometer cable. I hope my transmision in my 1997 monte ls 3.1 has the same shift lever on the trans as the 1997 3.4...If anyone is interested there's another floor console for sale at my local junkyard for $150.00 that looks nice but the door pad on top has a broken hinge. It's still usable and closes but when you open it it's not connected to the storage box

they do that on everything anymore.
Actually see if you can go to your local dealer and get them to order it. then they eat the shipping in most cases
