Default possible new "pontiac monte"

so i found this pontiac grand prix GT, i'm thinking of buying it but i want to know, if its a 'pontiac monte' because its got a 3800 series II, its automatic, but its a four door? please help me out on this thanks! Also, i was wondering if that would count to put in my garage or post pictures of it thanks again!!!

The 3800 motor was used in several GM cars.

What year is the G.T. you are thinking about buying ? How many miles on it ? How many owners ?
You can call your Car anything you want to call it or rename it.
It's yours 3800 series II are bulletproof engines `if they have been maintained...& not Abused!!!!

Yes, post pictures 4-Sure....I think a Monte/Pontiac GT will fit in the Garage Let us know `if you buy it...Good Luck

If it's a 97-2003 it's a W-body car just like the Monte Carlo so suspension wise, engine wise, a lot is the same.

Actually, the monte is a "chevy grand prix" not the other way around. The grand prix was a w-body WAY before a monte ever shared the w-body platform. But yes a grand prix uses the same platform, engine, trans and suspension. Just body panels and interior panels differ.
