My husband and I were great fans of Dale Earnhardt and were deeply saddened when he was taken from us. We bought our first Monte Carlo new in 2001 just after he was killed. It was a silver beauty that we drove and then put up for a year or so until my mother-in-law's friend bought it from us (we had 5 kids at home and needed more space). He then drove it for many years until he had problems with it and sold it. In March 2014, my husband saw a 2004 Intimidator for sale nearby. We looked at it, bought it and drove it home! Love, love, love this car! Last month, I received a call from the dealership that they had located the Certificate of Authenticity. We were thilled!
