Welcome back to the MCF family John. Been LOTS of cjanges here, and ALL for the good. We have a GREAT family of people here, and we're glad you can be part of this, even if this isn't your MAIN forum.
You got a GREAT Monte Carlo!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

Taz, the Prelude's hood is not carbon fiber - it's just black. The Honda has a good red/black theme going with it. I'd been considering shading the taillights black, but the stock tails on those cars just look so good. And yes, I am itching terribly to get my Monte back on the road again. Even with all it's problems - paint, KR, all that mess - I just want to drive the thing care free again. Hopefully I'll have it up and running sooner than later.

Nah, the car came with that hood when I bought it. I'm not really concerned with the hood, it clashes well with the front of the car, but I'm more dedicated and focused on my Monte. Maybe if I ever have an extra $600 laying around, then I'll get a carbon fiber hood. But I doubt it. After all, it's just a Honda.

Thanks for the welcomes once again guys.

Scott, it's actually an old picture, but a new front kit will be coming by the end of the year - I'll be getting the same Hiro style kit. Everything worked out just barely so I don't have to get rid of the car, even after numerous low balling tire kickers. Guys wanting me to sell it for like $1500 - which there's no way in hell I would sell a car that runs good and looks better, and is VERY reliable. I would get the lip sooner than December-ish, but I've got some heads to bring to the Head Shop in Va Beach.
