Default Not a Monte owner but my son is.

Not entirely true, I had a 78 Monte with T-tops back in the late 80's. My son bought an 04 Monte LS for wayyy below book. Well as you can guess it has some issues but the worst is electrical gremlins. I believe something fell on the upper part of the windshield some time in it's life and someone had the dash apart. I'm hoping it's just something loose. So expect to see me haunt the forums!

Me? I am a nurse, so the name as for vehicles, I do own an 04 Silverado, a 98 Grand Am, 98 Ninja 600, 12 KLX250S. My wife has a Ford Freestar that is tough as nails. My 14 year old inherited his brother's old Beretta I bought in 2000 that we are fixing up.

Will do. I threw a post about his headlight issue. It's a weird one!

I saw that one. There are many members on here that understand all the new electrical stuff. Unfortunately, I am NOT one of them!! LOL

I do ok with electrical stuff if I take my time.

Nice G body by the way. I kind of have a soft spot for those and the "orphan vettes" (late 70's to late 80's)

Thank you. I love the older Montes 4 sure but I also love my 02. The 84 seems (most of the time) easier to work on without all the fancy electrical stuff, sensors, and computers.

As a 6th Gen owner I know all about Gremlins. I'll take a look at the headlight issue. I bet its the same one I'm having. I have to do a multifunction switch replacement once the semester is over.

Cool ohara! I was a machinist before being a nurse. It wasn't easy to change a career @41 but I'm glad I did it. Now I need a full time job.

Storm1701 I priced one of those where I work, ouch. If I need one, I'll buy it online!
