Tadcaster I like ur engine scoop I've been to the site they come form. How much was it to paint it and was it hard to put on.

I went to Indy to have Eric Peters the owner put it on. It took him about 4 hours. the hood needs to be shaved a bit becuse he said the gap on each individual monte differs.

With the cost of the hood, paint on the underside, top and gold spyder strips was about 2K
I also had the shop do the front bumper to "blend" in with the new paint on the hood. Mason Auto Body here in Mason MI did the paint

Welcome Tommy. I'm also from Michigan. But now live in Minnesota. I grew up in and around the westside near metro airport area. Been in this state now about 9 yrs. Seems like theres more & more MI members popping up. Glad to see your another 2006 owner. Rick.

Tommy: I have an '07 SS that I took the LS4 out of and put in a turbo LS7. There is a link somewhere on this forum with alot of pix to look at. The car is being built in Utah and has been for the last two years. It's almost done now and I am going out there next month to make arrangements to bring it home. Have had some last minute issues they are mending and it will be done. When I get there we are going to do the last photo layout for Hot Rod. It made a small article in the July issue this year and I am hoping my next submission I will get a full page write up on it or more. Talk soon.
