Although I thought I was a member a few years back, I can't seem to log in (with information I remember, LOL) so I'll start over and say a quick hello to the current members at large. I/ we (my wife and I) have owned three newer Montes since our marriage. Our obsession started with a rental Monte in FL circa 2001. We quickly bought a 2002 3.8 liter in Spring of 2002. In '04 Chevy released the Supercharged version which we had to have (in Competition Yellow) and after trading the '02 for it and racing for several years, Chevy did the unthinkable. In 2006 my wife was sick of sharing her car at the drag strip so she insisted on me getting my own car, which ended up as an '06, Laser Blue, LS4 Monte :-) The '06 has since been traded in for a bigger family vehicle (Chevy Tahoe) but we still enjoy the '04 just as we enjoyed after the purchase.
