Thanks everyone for the warm welcome to the site. The car runs great. Like I said ,the couple maintained this car very well. When its cleaned up it looks like a 75,000 or 80,000mile car not one with 155,000 miles on it. There is not a single squeak or rattle in this car. It is a tight car and drives like a dream.

 

Charleston West Virginia Downtown is a solution to any members who enjoy fine dining and a shopping experience. Monte carlo are very nice.

IMO, like what was said, get it up on a hoist, or at least crawl under it, when you can, and look it over REAL good. As far as the tune up, if it's running fine, and getting the 25-30 mpg or mo.re, I'm not sure I'd do anything with the tune up. Make sure all the fluids are fresh, maybe pull a plug and check it. It's got the 3.1 in it, right? The engine appears to be dry on top, no coolant leaks? Do you have any maintenance records?
