Welcome to the site. Nice looking Monte you have there, please do the car a favor and make it look even better!
Quick word of advice, I see that your car is snow covered, it's been driven a lot, and an elderly couple owned it before you. Now I have nothing against all of that, but the first chance you get, you should get a tune up, and ask the mechanic to throw it up on a lift so you can get the bottom of the car examined.
You don't want the salt from the roads to be eating away at something, and since an elderly couple may not have washed the car that often, there could be some weak rust points in some crucial areas that could spell a lot of damage if gone untreated.
For example the weather started to eat up my front cradle, created a few weak points near the bushings and it was almost to the point that if I hit another pothole my whole cradle would have snapped, sending my nose into the ground and wrecking my car.
