Default New Member here with a 1973 Monte

Hey All,, Just added a 1973 Monte Carlo to my collection. I usually buy station wagons but could not pass this car up. Triple black car, all original with 59,000 miles. I am trying to locate a set of front bumper fillers for it but have not had much luck. I don't know the Monte's very well so I was wondering if 74 bumper fillers are the same. Below is a picture of my car.

Thanks for the welcome Space. The MC has the 350 in it, bench seat car, air, cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks. Wish it had bucket seats and console but oh well. I also have a 67 Firebird, 73 Caprice Estate Wagon, 74 Impala Wagon, 76 Pontiac Grand Safari Wagon, 74 and 75 Caprice two doors. I really wanted a 70-72 MC but found this one cheap so bought it.

Swammy:
I took it upon myself to do some research for you...

Your 1973 has a 3 piece bumper filler (heres a link)
Muscle Car Parts, Pontiac GTO Parts, NOS GM Auto Part, Trans AM, Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass, Buick GS Skylark, Firebird, Bonneville, Grand Prix, Catalina, Olds 88 98, Starfire, Chroming, Polishing, Welding, Stainless Steel Straightening, Aluminum, Restor filler

The 1974 is a 2 piece bumper filler (heres a link)
Muscle Car Parts, Pontiac GTO Parts, NOS GM Auto Part, Trans AM, Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass, Buick GS Skylark, Firebird, Bonneville, Grand Prix, Catalina, Olds 88 98, Starfire, Chroming, Polishing, Welding, Stainless Steel Straightening, Aluminum, Restor filler

Apparently,
the 1973 isn't interchangeable with any other year as far as the bumper filler is concerned....Its the only year they used a 3 piece bumper filler. Despite the 1974 being interchangeable with the 1975.. Which doesn't help you with your 1973... Unfortunately...

I did however call them(The parts place)that's the name of the company.. to dbl check for you. Just to be sure my information was correct about there non-interchangeability...

However....
you could use the first link to order one for your 1973

Hope this helps.
