Welcome!

Had to replace that in my car as well. Next to the motor in the right hand side, right below the thermostat, coolant will come out when you take it out, so make sure you have extra to put back in. When you re-thread a new one in make sure you put some kind of dope in it so it doesn't leak coolant. It wasn't too hard really, just a pain to get to.

welcome to this great forum !!

in my 01 SS the coolant level sensor was on the radiator, few inches below the radiator cap if i remember correctly
my 03 doesnt seem to have it though
and the coolant temperature sensor is below the thermostat housing
