2007 Monte Carlo SS/Black-Gray/5.3L. 95k miles.
Hello everyone I have just bought a MC. This is the nicest car I have ever owned and so far I really like it.
I'm sure that being on this fourm will give me the help I need with the car. It needs a bit of work nothing to major, But I am having a very hard time finding the right parts for the car.
Things I had to replace since I bought the car a month ago, Oil change syn blend Castroil. K&N air filter. New cabin filter, Both of the blend door actuators wow this was hard thank gosh I have small hands. Headlight bulbs.
Car needs new struts/tire rods
Dex cool looks a bit chunky on the cap Im sure that needs to be changed.
Power steering fluid is purple I was told that this is a syntehtic. Can you mix normal with this to top it off or do I need a flush?
Anyway I am glad to be here as I'm sure I will get the help I need with the car.

Be sure to Flushout all that dexcool...
I too would replace it with good ole Green...lol
also be sure to flush out the overflow tanks as well.
