Hi,
Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Kostas Kritsilas, called Gus most of the time. I've been a car guy most of my life, I guess. I don't own a Monte Carlo right now, but looking at getting one within the next month or so, either a 2006-2007 V8 Monte Carlo SS, or a 2004-2005 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged. I've never owned a Monte Carlo myself, but always did like the car, in its many forms. My Dad owned a 1975 Monte Carlo Landau way back when, a 350-2BBL. I did drive it when I first learned how to drive, but it wasn't around that long, and it was gone before I could get any significant amount of time behind the wheel.
I am not really brand loyal, as I currently own 3 earleir J body Chrysler products that will be restored, used to own a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, 1979 Mustang, 1983 Honda Accord, a 1988 Chevrolet Beretta (2.8L/5 Speed). Some cars were better than others, but I enjoyed driving the Mark VIII and the Berettal the most.

Thanks for the welcome.
I am looking at a Blue Exterior/Black Interior 2005 Supercharged SS tomorrow. Sounds good from the description, but you never know until you get there.
I have a red 2006 SS to look at next week. It has slightly lower mileage, but needs the cover at the front of the car (below the bumper) replaced, and a new steering rack. However, price is much lower than the 2005 SS.
I'll look at both and then see what I like better.
