Default New member!

Hey you guys, i am a new member and new to forums over all.
I am 17 and going to be getting my first monte carlo.
Its going to be around 1983 to 88. I do plan on having the official "ss" logo.
So if any of you "vets" can help me on which year i should get performance wise
that would be a great helps. Thanks!

Your choice/dream for a 4th Generation Monte Carlo SS
is a great choice.
What is your budget ? Speed/Power = Big $'s [X(]
+ High Insurance @ your age. [X(]
Do you have a garage tools/knowledge or someone that knows
about cars ?
There are sites like E-Bay motors to check out +
AutoTrader.com or Cars.com.
Also you can find 4th Gen Montes by just typing in
the model your are interested in on a Googles Search.
Use our MCF Search Engine, and check `out the MCF
Members Galleries & Winner Thread. We have several members that will
assist you with information.
Knowledge is power when it comes to purchasing a ride.
It really pays to do your homework/research 4-$ure : )

I'm a huge fan of those 4th generation Monte Carlos. I always wanted one, but it just didn't work out that way.

I'm not an expert on the 4th gens. But I believe they are pretty much the same performance wise from 83 to 88.Hopefully someone who knows better can answer this for sure.

As for looks, I'm a little more partial to the SS models from the late 80`s.

Oh yeah...
Don't be surprised if you use theMCF Searchfeature and your results aren't all that great. The search feature isn't working all that well right now.

for bein 17 you want a 80s monte? what is it about them that you want one or is it something that came across your path?
