Hey what s up!
I got a 2004 MC, non SS, with a 3400. I first came to this site a little over a year ago when I was looking for a cold air intake. I just couldn't find one. So I made my own with parts ordered from the web. I see a lot of home made CAI and I like what I see. Here's mine, first of all I KNOW my engine is DIRTY, but where I live its no use cleaning the engine bay cause the next day it'll be dirty again.

For the computer I cut the stock air box in half and left the bottom half so could mount the computer. I used aluminum brackets that I bent and bolted down, It;s been holding for over a year with no problems

Please excuse all the dirt and grime. It gave a noticeable difference , especially in the lower end, more oomph.
On freeway the mid rpm have a good kick. No dyno just seat of the pants dyno.
Thanks..
