Default new to mcf

Hey mcf, just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. currently i dont own a monte carlo, but i am in the market. im looking to pick one up in the next few weeks. ive been jumping around and checking out the different car forums and this is one of the best ive seen, so thats pretty much why im here now. i'm looking in to getting a monte carlo ss around the 2003 range. it should be a huge step up from my 97 galant..... so im looking forward to that upgrade, im sure ill be on here all the time checkin out whats new.

im happy to say that i am finally part of the monte carlo family after purchasing my first monte this weekend. its a 2003 ss red. ill be sure to get some pictures up by the end of the week.

The 6th Gens are great cars. All engines seem to be good runners now, the 3800 still seems to be the best.

If you plan to do any performance modifications, I would recommend getting a 2004 SuperCharged. More performance options and this was the only year the transmission was upgraded to a HD style to support the extra HP.

You can find good deals on E-Bay.
