Welcome to the forum.
Please, post some pictures we would all love to see it. Have you had any work done with the transmission? If not I would start saving for it lol
Especially with how your friend sounds like he drives and how much these tranny's can fail with abuse. (been there done that)

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. My buddy is very hard on cars, he doesnt drive them fast at all just doesnt take care of them.He also has a 96 impala ss which he had to put a new engine in. I believe this monte will get a second chance I will post many pics soon. I have to say being a v-6 I am very surprised with the power it doesnt feel like a 200 horsepower motor I have had a 87 trans am and my monte feels just as fast. Cannot wait to learn from you guys. Thanks again
