Hello I want to introduce myself to this fine forum. My Name is Rob im 27 from chicago. I own a 2000 monte carlo ss. Its midnight green leather fully loaded. A friend of mine who brought it in 02 had it for many years and neglected it beyond belief. A few months ago he told me he had purchased a 2009 dodge challenger and was giving the monte to the junkyard. I told him I would buy it from him, He said its so bad I could have it for free. I drove to his house and there was the car sitting alone flat tires broken side window busted bumper just sitting there. I drove it home it was rough but I believed I could make it a great car. Its been six months and the list of what I have replaced on it goes as follows all four tie rods, Rotors, brakes, math sensor, ac compressor, side window, tires, Electric harness. It sounds like a lot but with doing most work myself and used tires I paid 1200. Now its running like a new car. I love it and want to fix the body. I have been through a lot so far with this car but I think its worth it. I joined this forum to learn from you guys. Thank you for listening to my long story
