New guy from WI
New guy here, recently purchased a 2005 Monte Carlo LT. Boy do I love it I keep using the term "heated power leather everything" to describe it. Much nicer than the 2000 Blazer LS I had been driving.
Looking forward to doing some mods on it, been kicking around the idea of a Fram or K&N CAI, and a high flow exhaust. Recommendations on anything are gladly accepted.

25000 miles, power seats, roof, mirrors, windows and locks. XM radio, steering wheel controls for cruise and radio, heated leather seats, OnStar, auto dimming mirror, traction control, and the home link system.
The car handles amazingly, and the ride is superb, no odd noises, doesn't feel nose heavy in tight corners, I just love it.
Cant wait for summer to see what it can really do,though I have to say, despite the poor conditions of wisconsins winter roads, I feel just as capable driving my Monte as I did the Blazer, though I do miss the Blazers heated side mirrors.

Welcome Brian from WI. Looks like you got snow like we got. I just went out and blew out our drive.
LUV the color of your Monte. I hope she treats you well.
A CAI, IMO is the #1 install ANYONE can do to there car. My Intimidator gained 2mpg instantly. An exhaust upgrade will help the sound, but honestly, it won't gain much hp for the $, again IMO.
