Tony, thanks for the post about your experience!

I've been to the track in my 06 3LT. That was quite the experience as well! I don't think anyone got angry with me, but boy did they really have a lane preference! I tried several times to run against a mostly stock rustang GT, but every time we couldn't get lined up. Noone cared who they ran with, but noone wanted the right lane! I ran it all 3 times, didn't have any problems with it, lol.

Course, it was the far lane from the crowd, maybe their all just prima-donnas? heh

I didn't have any problems passing. The guy looked at my new car, looked at the tires and stuff and basically checked everything on his list and let me by. I don't think he specifically address more then 5 of the more than 50 checkpoints, haha. But, what do you expect of the guy? I mean a brand new car shows up and it doesn't take a genious to figgure it's not going to be running 10's on the stock drivetrain. I think they required Helmets for 12 seconds or faster, and a cage for 10 seconds and faster.

I brought a helmet just in case, but didn't bother putting it on.

But yes it was a good time, nice full 1/4 tracks are rare anymore.
