new guy
Hey all,
Well, I am more or less her for the wife cause it is her car, but I do all the work on it. Anyway, a little about myself. I am in the Air Force and work as a K9 handler. I am currently deployed to the great country we call Afghanistan. My wife is full time student and we are both huge car fans. We live in south Georgia and are always looking for things to do car related. I have been a Mopar fan most of my car life and still own a Jeep. My daily is now a 05 Cobalt SS/SC and love the little guy! Looking forward to talking with you all.
My expectations: Looking to meet new people that share the same love of cars. Would like to get a few outside pointers/views on my wifes car before I go hunting for addons/repairs and any other trouble I can get into. My wifes car is a 2004 MC SS/SC Dale Earnheardt Sr. edition sitting in the 80k mile range so no sure how much I want to do to it performance wise. Not really sure how much these powerplants can handle at that age. Well, that is all for now, take it easy out there!
Glad to be here!

Welcome!
I agree with Lou's statement, the 3800 has been great. One of GM's best non-v8's. Very solid, reliable, reasonably powerful out of box and a large "niche" community of people around it.
