new to the forum
Hi my name is walt, and Ive alwaysbeen a monte fan.i was introduced to the monte by my father in 1975.brand new 1974 monte carlo.myfather had it til i was a teen.unfortunately living in the north it didnt last long.and my father sold it due to all the rust.now i recentlly found a 87 LS and have been puttng my own twist on my version of the LS.funny thing is it has the same color code as the1974.and color of interior.the body needs some TLC and the interior needs some new odds and ends, but definatelly been a fun project so far.the 305 has been replaced with 350 4 bolt man from the early 70's corvette, new eldebrock cam, intake, and Hei system.tranny 200R4 has been rebuilt with shift kit and and a stall.found a set of original keystone Klassics which sets the car off.tryin to keep with the 80's theme if i can.im still looking for some rear gears it, still has the original 3:73's.
