You would need to cut a hole in the top of the plexi and put a gasket between the hood and the CAI

I see. I was just wondering. I think I may go the sleeper route and only go Wizaird CAI.

The MPD hood is nice, but to properly get it and put it on is expensive. You would be best off just slowly doing the mods haha

They would be done very slowly. To start things off, since I just bought the car, the oil is going to be changed. I am also going to change the engine and cabin filters as well. The engine filter will be a K&N drop in for the stock air box. One of the more expensive mods were done by the previous owner, a dual exhaust system that sounds awesome.

I have a slight oil leak. Not sure from where though. One of my co-workers and I are going to look at the intake manifold and see if there is anything there. Is that the best place to start?

I took my Monte out on the highway for the first time todsy. I was surprised at my RPM reading at certain speeds. For example: 60 MPH: 1600 RPM, 65 MPH: 1800 RPM, 70 MPH: 1900 RPM. I had my Cavalier for 10 1/2 years and at 70 my RPMs were at around 2300. I like the lower RPMs better. The exhaust sounded awesome going by other cars.

I went to Advanced Auto today and grabbed a few things for the car. I got new spark plugs, K&N oil filter, K&N drop in replacement air filter, Puralator cabin filter, transmission filter kit, oil pan gasket, 13 quarts of tranny fluid. All that will will be put in at work on Thursday.
