Need help 200 Monte Carlo won't start!

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo and it ever now and then it will hesitate to start but today it just won't start at all. It makes this like ticking noise when I try? Any suggestions in whoa tit might be?

Have you checked the Alternator to see if the battery is getting charged? I assume you have checked the battery.

Check the battery, hot weather just like bitter cold will kill a battery that is borderline weak
