Default My 2006 Monte Carlo (Silver Surfer) on 22s.

Whats up people,

I have a 2006 Monte Carlo LS. I have recentlypurchased some special made emblems to go onto my car. I'm telling you guys, the emblems really bring out my car. On the front left and right fenders, in front of the door, behind the wheel in the middle, I put the emblem "LS" on my car. Everyone thinks thats factory made. Above my rear side mirrors I put emblems there too of custome made 22 inch signs. For everyone that want to know if 22s will fit without a lift, yes they will, but I don't recommend it. You will have to use a 225/22 tire and you rim will have to be a 22x9. I suggest you go to AutoZone and buy 4 packages of bolt action spring lifts. Trust me, this is all you need. As for the tire size and rim, do not do bigger than a 22x9.5 or 22x10. The 22x10 looks real good because it pokes out the side just a little. It makes your car look meaner when cars approach it. As for the tire size 245/22 or 255/22, either one will work.

Sounds nice! Can't wait to see the pics. It's always fun to make some mods that look like they could have been (or should have been) a factory option. Makes some people wonder "how come my car didn't come with that?"

Welcome David from Texas. We are looking forward to seeing the Silver Surfer on 22's. Did you lift it?What size did you go with on the tires? I like the 20's, but I'm not sure about lifting it. I prefer the other direction, lowering it. Lifting for big tires doesn't make sense to me, let alone destroying the suspension geometry.
Let's see it
I like the name, Silver Surfer, and it's my wife's favorite comic character.
