That would be sweet! I've never done anything like that before!
And about the paint, the BB's made small circular dents and cut through the paint. They are quite small, but when you get up close you can see them, there's only about 4 of them. The people who had the car before me didn't treat it very well, the rear bumper is effed ( luckily I didn't replace it when I got it because I was rear ended this winter) and now insurance is paying for a new one. And the front bumper was flexed but not broken and the paint is chipping, but I'm planning on getting the SLP front bumper kit and that will make that look nicer.

When You get ready to take your Monte to the body shop, ask them how much more it would cost to have the damage from the BB's repaired seen as how they will have the paint to fix it. Good luck with your car.
In regards to a "meet-n-greet" Anyone here go to the 28th St. Metro-Cruise? That could be a good place to meet. I hear that the Quaker Steak and Lube on 28th St. in Grand Rapids, MI will be starting a cruisin every Sunday starting in May.Just a couple of ideas I thought I'd throw out there.

Hello All,
Im new to the forum and like all of you, I too LOVE my Monte! As a little girl, my "Granny" had a 1973 Monte Carlo. And she loved that Black "Betsy"! (she is the only person that I know that refered to that car as a her). In 2004 I purchased a 2003 Black Monte Carlo SS. Found this to be quiet funny, I too refer to my Monte as a "him" too. And I call him "The Beast". I love this car and cant tell you how much joy this car brings to me when I drive it. Once I figure out how to post pictures to my profile I will.
Im happy to find others that share the love of the Monte Carlo.
