Hello, my name is JC and I am a Car-O-holic! I joined MCF in Nov 2012.
I was born in Queens NY, where I fell in love with a Cherry Red Stingray at 7 years old, and was a Mets fan for 12 years. Rusty Stab, Tommy Agee and Tom Seiver era! I then moved to the Bronx, where I fell in love with a Sky Blue Monte Carlo SS in 1983 but my first car was a Candy Apple Red 71 Impala , and became a Yankees fan cause everyone else was. I left the Bronx in 88 to serve the next 10 years in the US Navy as an Electronics Tech 3rd Class. I also did a couple of years as Shore Patrol/Militarily Police. I was Sationed in Norfolk Va and Groton CT. I've been half way around the world, 12 time zones from the east coast, and stood next to The Great Pyramid of Geesa. That was Awsome! Here in the states I've been in Va, Ct, Ga, Ma, Ml, Il, Tx, Pa, Fl and of coarse NY and NJ. I now live in Jersey, where i owned an IRoc 350 and realized that "I Am" a Shade Tree Mechanic and a Wrench Head. I've been a limo and Bus driver, and Actually drove for the Yankees Single A team, the Staten Island Yankees, for 2 years.
When I was 18, I worked in a friends Auto Shop for a year and a half, for free, just to learn about cars. I've been hook ever since.
Now, I inspect Million dollar Electronics prior to shipment to Customers all over the world. I Build Desktop Computers, and I work on my and my Families cars. I like Sci-Fi and am a Big Star Trek, and Star Wars Geek! I like to learn somethi g new Every day, especially if it has to do with cars, and hope to be learning until the day I leave this life. Lastly, if E.T. came down to Earth and wanted to take me to see wonderous things and learn the secrets of the universe, I would go in less than a Heart Beet.
So that's JC in a nut Shell, otherwise known as "My Head"! Others opinions of me may differ. But that's ok! One thing anyone who knows me will not disagree on is, I Love My Monte! Thanks for listening!

On 390 there is this very LARGE hill (I believe at the corner of 390 and 447) that I have to go up to get to her house from my Parents'. I always saw a BEAUTIFUL blue Monte Carlo parked at one of those houses, complete with hood scoops and everything. I was always tempted to stop and talk to them, but I don't see that car anymore
Small world huh. I did live in East Stroudsburg for 20 years then I moved up to Pocono Summit in January. Where is your location? Is that south toward Philly or west from my area.

LOL. Not all of them. Yeah there's rt 447 and rt 390. There's also 611, 191, 209, 715, 402(another one), 940, 115, 314, 903 and a few more. Those are just the state roads. There's also Interstate 80, rt 380, and rt 33...

I think Michigan still takes the prize for the best road/intersection.

Here's a road sign that is really famous in Michigan. And pretty much everybody in the Michigan area is familiar with it.

Interstate 75 has an exit ramp that leads to Big Beaver Road in Troy, MI.

It's not fake. It's not photoshopped. It is real. Yes, it's funny. And yes, everyone around the area has gotten over it. Please keep the crude jokes to yourself. Enjoy!

That's not too bad. You said no crude jokes but I have to get this one in. In the Pocono area there's a town called Bangor. And on the way to Bangor you have to go through a town called Cherry Valley...I'll stop there.
