Welcome to the forum! I hope one day to put those many happy miles on my Monte. Now I have yet to have to fix the intake manifold on my car. Hope the suggestions above help to solve the problem!

Basically yes...I have skipped an oil change a few times. I changed over from motor oil to synthetic because of all the driving I do. Well kinda new, it had about 15K when I got her. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, I would greatly recommend using the metal gaskets when it comes time to replace the intake manifold gaskets again. My mechanic did mine last year with the aluminum gaskets so I don't expect to have an issue with them again.
