Ignore all of the "stages"

You need to properly build the car. Free up power with exhaust and intake, look into modified rockers, lower temp thermostat, and get a gauge to scan for knock. Until you KNOW you have 0KR at all points of driving, can you even think about tuning and dropping pulley sizes.

Those stage kits, just give you basics and a smaller pulley, but it might not be safe to run the smaller pulley on your car.

The "stage" kit I'm referring to is from zzp which includes an intake, downpipe, thermostat, pulley, and retuned pcm. I was thinking what else besides not on this kit to get around 300whp

I know what kit you are thinking about, and I don't think they are a good idea. They give you the tune and pulley ASSUMING that you will run knock free, but not every engine will. You can do a lot of harm just adding all of that stuff and never scanning for KR or modding further if needed.

Alright. I usually go to grandprixforums.net anytime I need help with something. You could also check out gpona.com. I'm on both and you can get help on both. It seems like more people use GPF over GPONA but that doesn't always mean you will get better info there. lol. You could probably check around too if you wanted.
