Default Followed me home PART 2

well its been an interesting summer, Our local race season was brutal & the Monte Sat in my pals shop while we raced every weekend for 3 straight months.
Decided to keep it. The leak in the powerglide was a cracked case due to a solid mount,
Just had a new case & it rebuilt, It looked brand new. The Torque converter was a custom 5k stall TCI 8 Inch also brand new looking.

I finally got it in my shop this weekend. With that stall its almost underivable. I Have a steep driveway and it was LOUD going up it at 6 grand.barley moving. now that it does move I am going through it to see what I have,

The plan right now is to make it a Street cruiser over the winter show & Cruise circuit which is real active around Atlanta,
I need to plumb a bigger fuel cell, get rid of that converter for now & make a suitable exhaust, since the custom Dyna tech headers have no collectors I am looking for a bolt in header, any suggestions, when I look it up on any of the retailers they always recommend shorty headers, Does a straight hooker or summit brand fit, there is no motor plate & the trans is mounted in the stock location,

I am ready to get some plates & have a lil terrified fun. Then work a plan for race season. Everyone wants me to run it, I have had all sorts of suggestions like slap a crate big block in it to going back to the alky setup. either way its mine to stay.........

Another note I just peeled off those army & marine lables on the doors to reveal the original Sherman Carter script on the doors. neet this car won 131 world of wheels & he has a scrapbook of over 800k signatures from kids who were on the Burnout tour

That sounds like a fast and fun project. Welcome to the site. I also have projects that have a habit of following me home. Lol.
