The original Pace cars 1-3 each year had there Team Monte Carlo decals put on according to the directions given by G.M.. 1 and 2 being the track vehicles and 3 being a travling show car. Never seeing the track. Team Monte Carlo graphic facing so the passangers can see it as looking out the rear. The reason for it on the inside is. LIGHTS! The original Pace Cars have the flashing white safty lights on the rear spoiler. There for it has to be on the inside. AND the track Pace Cars had cameras in the rear window to show the race cars following, in turn showing and advertising the auto.Also the directions for the replicas are the same. Why? Dont know and I cant get a clear answer from G.M. any more since they have discontinued that division. The answers about the Windshield sticker is correct. Believe it or not. Michigan forbids them on autos!. As for the Team Monte Carlo being a State thing. Mine were put on by the dealer and my friends R.P.C. had them as a option. So that answer for sure I can't nor do I think anybody else can truely answer.

I'm thinking about buying the team monte carlo 'taz' sticker package for my car.
