Default Just got a pace car replica

I just got a 2000 Pace Car replica and can't seem to find much info on them. Is there an area of this forum that deals with these cars?

Welcome to the MCF family.

There USED to be a registry. But it shut down a year or 2 ago.

I just posted this on another thread about custom embroidered headrest. This is about the best I know of right now:

Monte Carlo SS Pace Cars

  • Galaxy Silver ground effects
  • Checkered Flagging on fenders & doors
  • TAZ decals on quarter panels and trunk lid behind the Monte Carlo script. It also has a
  • "Race Inspired" rear spoiler that resembles the look of the NASCAR spoiler
  • Limited Edition Plaque on trunk lid
  • Monte Carlo script on the dash is replaced with "PACE CAR".
  • Gauge cluster displays"LIMITED EDITION" below the speedometer where it would say "Apply Brake To Shift From Park"
  • These are true for all Pace Cars, the uniqueness between years is the color combination, and amount produced.
  • 16-inch Diamond-Cut Cast-Aluminum Wheels
  • Door Opening Kick Plates Featuring the Monte Carlo Nameplate
  • Ground Effects Package (shown in Galaxy Silver)
  • Stainless-Steel Dual Exhaust Tips
The 2000 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car
  • Production limited to 2,222 cars
  • Sports two-tone leather Black and Red
  • Chevy Embroidered Headrests
  • Torch Red with Galaxy Silver ground effects

The 2001 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car
  • Production limited to 1,300 cars
  • Sports two-tone leather Black and Silver
  • Chevy Embroidered Headrests.
  • Black with Galaxy Silver ground effects
The 2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car
  • Production limited to 1,150 cars
  • Sports two-tone leather Black and Yellow
  • Chevy Embroidered Headrests.
  • Competition Yellow with Galaxy Silver ground effects
The 2003 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car
  • Production limited to 1,401 cars
  • Sports two-tone leather Black and Blue
  • Chevy Embroidered Headrests.
  • Superior Blue with Galaxy Silver ground effects

I also have a 2000 pace car and you can call GM direct to find out the production number out of 2,200 and you just give them your vin and they will call you back in a couple days and give you the production number. Good Investement!!!

There is someone that lives in my town who owns a 2000 Pace Car. Works at a local automotive store. I like the two tone seats in your 2000 Pace Car. I'd like to either get a set like them, or re-upholster mine that way.

Welcome to the forum! I was going to mention about the registery also, but Wayne beat me to it.

Thumpin'... What phone number did you use? Wondering if it's the same phone number as before.

I actually found a "pace car forum" and they had the number on there but I havent been able to find that website recently... im sure you could somehow get ahole of GM, thats if the government allows it, haha. All you need is your VIN and that should be it! Hope this help
