i'll get some pics up soon. been kinda busy with christmas and all.... I have the certificate of authentication and window sticker. i have my production number and the original owners manual still in plastic as well as the promotional plackard. of course we all know what the cars look like, and mine is no exception. 87,000 miles and i'm 3rd owner. the car is super clean and has options out the wazoo. i am concerned with my spoiler decal... its on the front side ( facing the car ) and i have seen others with the decal on the backside... which is correct?

If you can see the spoiler decal while sitting in the car, it's on the wrong side.

lol, welcome and congrats on your buy.
Sounds like you have all the information already, idk really since mine didn't have the certificate or placard.
I thought they would have it written on the certificate.

I was interested in finding out how many pace cars are left. Who originally installed the pace gar graphics? Factory? Dealer? Owner? since my spoiler decal is on the wrong side of the spoiler, i'm curious to find out why?

the decalsn the car were factory installed, the spoiler & windshield decals were shipped with the car for the owner to put on

Just looked at the photos of your car, and it is lovely.
Excellent interior conditions.

The decals that were installed depends on the state you live in. Pretty much each pace car is almost custom depending on the wishes of the original owner.

Some states don't permit the windshield decals. Some owners wanted more of the decals installed than others. So what ever decals weren't installed by the factory, were put into a box and thrown in the trunk.

If your "Team Monte Carlo" decal is on the wrong side of the spoiler, then chances are it was not installed by the factory. Could be lots of reasons why it's on the wrong side. But basically, someone goofed.
