IMO:
The most important thing about these Monte Carlo's ... is keeping them well maintained.. Tune ups, Oil Changes/filter..Trans fluid and filter changes.. Brakes, air filters etc... Keep it well lubed and these Montes will last you a life time... I have had mine since day 1.... I ordered from the factory... 164,000 miles on it and it still runs..rides... and drives like the day it was made.

I did have the trans rebuilt around 110K.

Welcome to the forum I got my monte back in september it needed a trans I put one in her and I driver her every day she has 2500041 miles and still running strong I wont ever get rid of her
