Talking I finally joined :)

Hello everyone. I have come across this forum multiple times when doing searches and research for things for my monte. I finally decided to register and get involved. There seems to be a lot of good information and cool people around here, so i'm looking forward to being around when I can.

I added it to my garage on here. Not really any performance mods as of yet, unless you count a gutted cat, lol. But I am about to replace the stock muffler with a flowmaster. I know a guy who builds race cars who is going to help me put a 350 and rwd drivetrain setup in it once I get everything together, so I haven't tried to modify this 3.4 much.

Welcome to the forum.

Best of luck with the v8 RWD conversion. Many have wanted to do it and very few have. From what I understand, it takes a lot of custom fabrication. You friend who builds race cars is probably used to a lot of custom fab-ing work, I'm sure that experience will help!

Make sure to keep us up to date on your progress when you begin that project. Many of us enjoy reading that stuff and checking out pics

Yeah that'll be a well documented and photographed adventure, I assure you. He has built some amazing drag cars, done many nearly insane motor swaps, builds roll cages from scratch, etc. So I have confidence in the build, it's just going to hurt my wallet! I will definitely put all of that up for you guys once it happens. Will probably be over a year from now, though.
