From everything I see, I am glad my 05 does not have the tire pressure sensors. looks like they still need a lot of work before they perfect them.

I've never had a problem with my tire spressure sensors, on this '04 or my '01. Always worked when they were supposed to.
One time when the low pressure light came on, I checked it and it was low, so I took it in for repair and they pulled a 30-06 cartridge out of my tire. Someone obviously placed it under my tire for kicks and giggles, I guess. Not my idea of fun. Cost me a tire. And no, it didn't blow up.
