Hey how's it going, My Name is Marcos I'm 20 years old From Milwaukee, WI have the 03 Monte Carlo SS had it for about the last 2 years now, and being from WI needed a car that was going to be reliable year round an This Car is everything I was looking for (good in snow& gas etc). Ever since I got the car I had little problems here an there (Mainly basic maintenance) But I want to thank you guys I been always interested in cars an how this and that works, my problem was I never really knew anything about cars (check the fluids & take the tires off was as far as i got) now 2 years later im doing lots of the maintenance myself searching for the answers to my cars problems here on this Forum gave me lots of confidence to do things myself (saved me time an LOTS of Money.) So again thank you, you guys where awesome with all information you been sharing about this particular car.
ps. When I first got the car I actually paid a shop to flush my coolant & change my oil HAHA yea I know go ahead laugh it up lol But now 2 years later with the help of you guys an little can do attitude I be Changing my own spark plugs fixing my own gasket leaks around the UIM manifold and the oil pan just an idea how far the experience an information you shared has brought me.. So again thanks for the help, Glad to be a member I will post pictures of the car when I figure out how

Welcome to the forum Marcus, glad to hear owning the car has helped build up your knowledge and skills. There is a feeling you get when you accomplish something on your car that is hard to describe until you actually have it happen

Yea there she Is
I bought it with 110,000 miles back in Feb 2012 (my first car) right now its going on 140,000 and after are sub zero weather this Winter an last it still runs like a Champ .. I have the L36 non supercharged. .but even without a V8 or Supercharged V6 I still like the animal thats under my hood (reliable) I plan on keeping this car As long as possible so I really don't want to add to many performance mods to it. But then again hey why not just add the supercharger?
As for the options. . Im not to sure of all the specifics all I know is I got the 3.8 L36 I don't think its the HS? Just SS
And thanks Im glad to be here, I still have work to do on this car so im sure youll see me here an there with questions
