I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. Im wondering if I could install a homelink without having a sunroof installed? (planning on getting a sunroof eventually) Some people say I'd need a sunroof? If not could I get the homelink with a sunroof button for a future upgrade or what? Thanks!

 

Check Ebay, they have GM Homelinks with a roof button included.

 

Yeah you can have a homelink without having a sunroof because my car has homelink and no sunroof. I would look at a junk yard for the homelink module, that would probably be the cheapest place to get it.

 

I've found some homelink overhead consoles without the sunroof switch on eBay. You could try searching for Impala overhead consoles.
