Hi, New to the forum
Hi everyone, I just found this forum, and thought I'd join up.
I have a 2001 Monte Carlo SS, that I inherited from my grandpa(kinda). He passed away, and bought it about 3 days before this happened. The car was too big for my grandma too handle, so they gave it to me.
Right now it's in the shop getting new wheel bearings. At about 75k miles, Ive only had a faulty fuel injector. Besides replacing that, I haven't done anything to it.
I've always liked Montes. My dad had two when I was growing up. One was an 86 LS, and the other was a white 83, with a 350(i believe) dropped in.

I was sorry to read about the loss of your grandfather, but
he must have been a very wise man to have purchased a
Monte Carlo.
Happy to read that you inheirted one of his prized possessions.
Tell us more about it; color/options/etc.
Was your grandfather the first owner ?
How did he drive it/maintain `it ?
We would also love to see pictures : )

Thanks guys, it was about 7 years ago, so ive recovered.
As for the car, well it was purchased new. It's dark blue, and comes with the ground effects and spoiler, and from what I know, pretty much every option available. Black leather, CD changer, power seats, sound, etc. The car was very well maintained. I come from a family of Circle Track Modified crew members(I can post pics of the current one
), so everyone knows how to do maintenance, and engine work, including my mom.
