Default Hi all, been here a couple days.

I just wandered in here and figured I should post an intro. I'm a 19 year old college kid from MN - got up and moved to Atlanta. I've owned and bought only two cars, both Montes. I fell in love after I bought my first white 96 LS, and a couple years later I bought my current black 05 LT. I love adding mods to it of any kind, so I'll often be lurking on those boards. After installing and updating my sound system I'm kinda broke though so I will be admiring all of you with your nicely-modded beauties from afar.

On my to-do list are the following, and if anyone knows any reliable, well priced websites, hook me up!

New tires/rims
New tail lights
Tail light covers
Change instrument panel light to red
Carbon fiber some of the interior
Ground effects (maybe.)
HID headlights
Custom steering wheel cover

that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure that list will grow the more I hang out here. So that's me, nice to meet yall.

Welcome! I don't think you can get cheap and reliable from the same place, but I have been wrong before. Good luck with your mods!

I guess my definition of cheap is 'cheaper than thousands of dollars.' :P

Good time to be in ATL, this weekend is supposed to be really beautiful.

Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family.
Glad to read that you enjoy your new city...What color is your 05 LT ? How many miles ? What factory options ?
Explore the MCF & use our search engine for subjects of interest & if you can't find, just make a post & ask.

Look forward to seeing pictures of your Monte and hearing about your life...What are you doing in Atlanta ? How's the trafffic there ?

Wish you safe/fun trouble`free miles...EnJoy your `Journey, and it is so much better in a Chevy Monte Carlo

Welcome!

As for mods, their are plenty of them out there. These range from inexpensive with little performance gains and goes up from there. There are plenty of mods outthere you can do that should not sacrifice reliability or longevity of the drive train. Just do your home work, ask for input from others and you'll do fine.

It's black, 66777 miles :p It's still the basic stock LT options, nothing fancy. Wish I had a moonroof like in my old Monte...

Traffic on I75 is not the greatest. Nobody makes use of their turn signals here. But for ATL, it's not too bad. Lots of nicely modded vehicles running around here as well, fun to look at.
