Hey everyone
So I'm new to this forum but not new to 3800s. I have some questions for you guy and hopefully you might be able to help me out. I have a 2000 buick regal gse. Mods are. Xp cam. F/s intercooler. Gen v. N*. Lq4 maf. Stock ported heads. Double roller. Ok. So my question is that I can't get this car into boost what so ever. The second u would try and snap the throttle the car would bog. But if I remove the supercharger belt it's doesn't bog. I replaced all the vac lines. Timing is on point like how it should be. Replaced the fuel pump. Fuel filter. I was reading on zzp and I was looking into there valve spring retainers and was seeing of how they offer the modified steel retainers for the xp cam. And well I just have the steel ones. Not the modified cause I didn't have a cam before I just had rockers. And the modified ones come with a exrta 0.30 of clearance. And I'm not sure if that would cause a issuse. So I'm not sure. Fuel pressure is fine too. I did a compression check and had 190 across the board. So I'm pretty stumped right now and what else this could be. I hope someone can try and help me out. Thanks guys.

Welcome to mcf, when the blower belt is off and you spin the blower pulley by hand do you feel any resistance? Also I'm not real big into tuning but I know there is a table in the tune that is specific to power enrichment (maybe that table is causing issues) does it build any boost while bogging or no? What's your AFR when this happens?

You need the correct injector table in the tune for the injectors your using. There is a few different tables that deal with tuning (air, spark and fuel) that is also adjusted when tuning
