My name is Matt, and ive had my monte for about a year and a half and ive put on 40k on it so for...haha its so nice to drive. she has 121000 on her now. i've been lookin for a website like this to talk to other people who have montes, hopefully looking forward to some carshows to show my car in and maybe get a couple others to tag along? she is all stock right now, i change the oil every 3k with mobil 1 synthetic, it runs a lot better with it in it. just thought id stop by and say hey

Welcome Matt from MA, aka 00sskid, to the MCF family. Good to have you here. Mobil 1 is GREAT oil, and I suggest you use the Extended Performance 15,000 mile variety, and push it more than 3000 miles. We run it in 2 vehicles, and rotate tires and change filters every 5,000 miles, and again at 10,000 miles with fresh oil. Can only go 5000 miles on regular Mobil 1 in our 2 boosted cars, but we can and do it in 2. Been doing that for over 600,000 miles now, and never pulled a valve cover or oil pan yet! No loss in any performance or milage, but a subsantial savings.

i like the color as well...i dont think ive ever seen a monte that color

 

Ive only seen one other in my area, its called jade green. its got some flake in it also looks great in the sun
