HI I Have A 2003 Monte Carlo Ls With The 3.4 Motor About A Week Ago I Was Driving It And Started Hearing This Popping Noise Almost Like It Was Back Firing..Then It Just Stalled Out I Let Sit For A Couple Hour Went Back To Start It It Hesitated But Than Start Up But Repeated The Cycle I Manged To Get It Home But Everytime I stopped At A Red Light It stalled Out And Wouldnt Start For About 30 min Does Anybody Have Idea What My Problem Might Be I would Like To Get This Car Back On The Road

Check Idle air control valve , I had that go out on my 2001 Impala ,I had to
drive home with both feet one on gas other on brake..

 

Could be a plugged up cat...
