Hello from Long Island
Thanks folks, I already have some repairs & maintenance lined up for this week in order to get it in tip top shape for inspection.
I just replaced the windshield & wipers.
Got a new in cabin filter to drop in.
Just got a scan tool & have to deal with 2 codes. (P0420 & P0480)
I believe the cooling circuit code is due to the fact that one of the fan motors has burned out. It will barely spin by hand.
I am thinking a 1.0 PCM should cure the cat prob.
What do you guys/ gals think?
I also have to replace the valve cover gaskets as they are leaking.
I get this done on my own and pass inspection I will have saved myself enough $$$$ for a CAI!!!
Peace out.

If you have a cat problem, then just deleting the code won't fix the cat... I would look into a ZZP Downpipe with a High-Flow cat and replace the cat (and get the code deleted)
If you are doing the valve covers and want to modify further look into the ER Ratio Rockers

As a DIY guy, you should try to find the service manuals (set of 3) on ebay for cheap. I was able to pick them up for $18.
Mine is a daily driver also (since the day it was purchased) hoping to change that around in the next couple of months. Keep reading the forum and learning, you'll have a huge to-do list soon
