I joined this site because I might be a proud owner of a 1998 Monte Carlo LS haha. My uncle is going to give it to me for free but it needs some engine work. He says a head gasket but there might be more that needs to be done. I own a camaro and mustang, but also wanted to come by and say hey.

 

 

I havea 2002 Mustang GT that is pretty much stock and my camaro is a 1985 Z28 that is my bracket racing car. My dadand brother share a1969 camaro that they race as well but not as much as me. My dad's camaro goes 8.70s and .80s on a nice day and well I don't let others know how fast my camaro is but it's definetly not as fast as my dads haha.

can i ask what is in your camaros???
my dads got a 70 1/2 camaro that he used to drag, that is back in the day. now its a garage queen and has seen upwards of 5 different engines. i think right now it has a 350 and as long as it hasnt changed in the past 10 years it did soemthin like low 12 sec quarter. not its fastest engine.
i hope to get my hands on a similar camaro and build it also, not for drag but for cruising

My dad's camaro has a zz572 crate motor that he runs on a alcohol setup. My camaro is a 350 bored .30 over with strokerkit. Mine is a street car that is pretty damn quiet for how quick it is.

 

sweet man, sounds like a sweet ride fer your pops. has to sound amazing and yours im sure is one hellof a nice street killer and probably sounds great when you get on it.
